Martin Chanzit has an extensive background managing portfolios for institutions and high net worth investors.  Before joining Ingalls & Snyder in 2018, Martin spent 18 years at U.S. Trust, where he was a Senior Portfolio Manager in the Global Wealth and Investment Management Division.  In that role Martin managed $1.3 billion of custom portfolios for high net worth clients, and co-founded and lead-managed the World Thematic Alpha Portfolio – a $1.6 billion global equity strategy which combined quantitative and fundamental investment disciplines.

Martin is a Chartered Financial Analyst® charterholder. He earned his B.A. in Economics from Drew University and his M.B.A. from the N.Y.U. Stern School of Business.

Martin and his family are residents of Chester, New Jersey.
