Steven E. Powers, CFA

Steven E. Powers is a Senior Vice President and Senior Portfolio Manager and Analyst on the Stewart Asset Management team at Ingalls & Snyder. Steve was a founding member of Stewart Asset Management at the firm’s inception in 2014.

Steve began his investment career in college while working as a floor clerk for Albert Fried, LLC, a New York Stock Exchange broker-dealer, specialist and registered investment adviser, now a subsidiary of the TD Bank Group. While there, Steve rose to become the senior institutional trader for both U.S. equities and options.

Steve graduated from the Stern Business School of New York University with a B.S. degree in Finance and Marketing. He earned an MBA from Fordham University School of Business. He is also a CFA Charterholder.
